Los Mad's were a Peruvian sixties Psychedelic Rock and Latin Rock outfit, which was formed in the capital city of Lima, back in 1965. They started off their career by playing cover versions and some of their own material on Peruvian TV shows. This CD collects recordings from the three different phases that the group went through during their six-year existence, when they were known as Los Mad's, The Mads and Molesto.

This band hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil. They re-create the sound of seventies Jazz Rock, with a trend towards Progressive Rock. Their sonic explorations take them on a trip through the sounds of a Hammond organ, Mellotron, and Fender Rhodes. During such voyage they assimilate and incorporate influences from The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Caravan, Return to Forever, Weather Report, among others.

Another Uruguayan act trilogy: Miguel y el comité was a band which mixed Rock with Candombe and whose lyrics reflected elevated political overtones & observations. Limonada did likewise, amidst nice & poppy melodies. Leo Antúnez was one of the very few soloists performing Hard Rock in Uruguay back in those days; however, what's on the menu here are 2 melodic songs featuring spoken lyrics.
