Biography
The band emerged from the "Piezas Dedicadas" cycle of the Taller de Remedios, Casa/ Taller, located in the city of Escobar, where the main premise is experimentation, under any platform (graphic, auditory, etc.). The "Piezas Dedicadas" cycle consists of the live presentation at the Music Workshop never before interpreted, composed for the occasion, and recorded thanks to Depto Records and later to be edited in physical format at Sello Cabello.
La tumba meets in the garage of the drummer where he gives free rein to the mix of emotions, sounds, states and climates of each one of the members that gradually are adding up. Emo (drums), Gringo (guitar), Lucas (bass) and Luca (guitar) begin to compose for this project, having as core concept the zapada and rhythmic experimentation. From this comes the live album "La Tumba del ALCA" dated 10/09/11 in which are four composite songs and an improvised introduction.
In the middle of the year 2016 they publish their second work “Silencio y persecución”, presented in different shows and mainly in Festival Antiego in november of the same year.
Between the first album and the second album there were two years of recording and work in between that marked not only the band's experience but also their discipline. When the songs of "Silencio y persecución" came out they were already old so much that almost immediately the band dedicated themselves to planning what would be their third album already with several ideas and songs in the heads of: Lucas Podestá, Gringo Chavez, Luca Trabanco. Emiliano Espíndola. and Chuly García. They took the positive and negative of their previous experiences in study and they decided to devote themselves entirely to work on it, leaving the live presentations and other things aside.
So bring life to "La muerte de la empatia" their third album that was released in October of 2017. Just one year after his impressive second album Escobar's band, redoubles all its bets on a material that promises to bring its synergy group to new lands. As they have always done, the presentation has been carefully prepared to make it a unique moment together with its public and friendly bands. The live launch will also include the launch of the physical edition of the hand of the ever present Mateo Baggio who will also open the night with his band Nomateo. The chosen place has been the beautiful El Bondi Cultural Center (formerly "Cine Gloria" in Ingeniero Maschwitz) where they will be accompanied by their eternal followers "Fusibles" who will also be performing that night.
As a preview of this third work La Tumba del Alca has recently released an 11-minute mini-documentary about the recording of “La muerte de la empatia” that took place in Estudio el Cubo under the tutelage of Eric Kamatzu.
In November of the same year they return to form part of the Festival Antiego sharing scenarios with other 20 friendly bands.
