Biography

Dario Iscaro Trío is the brainchild of guitarist and composer Dario Iscaro (Córdoba, Argentina), creator among other groups of Jazz and Contemporary Music: "Antiheroe" and "Trio Desatanudos", now based in Buenos Aires. (Both groups are Córdoba leaders in the field of Jazz and Fusion).

The local musicians Flavio Romero on bass and electric bass and Martin Vicente musicians on drums complete the Buenos Aires threesome that Iscaro performed live in different parts of Capital, Buenos Aires and Córdoba.

The threesome addresses an own compositions comprising the same Iscaro repertoire. They contain reference quotes from different genres like Jazz, Rock, Tango and Contemporary Classical Music. With moments of improvisation and timbral experimentation on electric guitar, plus the suggestive rhythm of the bass and drums on uneven bars.

This trio formed in 2009 appeared live at Teatro Ensamble (Banfield), Maria Bonita (Adrogué) and Bukowski Bar (Capital Federal). In Cordoba did the same at the Centro Cultural La Fábrica, Sala Luis de Tejeda and Espacio Cultural 1129, in Capital Federal they have occurred in Notorius, the prestigious Café Tortoni, among others.

Dario Iscaro Trío released in 2010 their CD entitled "Dario Iscaro Trío" in which guest musicians also participate Pablo Fenoglio on trombone and Juan Manuel Alfaro on soprano sax.
