Ginkgobiloba is a Rock trio formed in early July 2001 by Demian Pozzo on guitar and vocals, Jorge Mockert on drums, percussion and vocals and Emiliano Memo Beltzer on bass and vocals. The band has based the creation of his music in experimentation, in the mix of genres and styles: Rock crude and violent seventies, very rhythmic work, enriched with melodies and typical of other genres such as Jazz, harmonies Argentine Folklore, Bossa Nova, Latin American Music, etc., always with the constant presence of improvisation, combined in turn with arrangements. That combination sound that the band get in its first CD, released in 2004 under the name homonym, through the UMI (Union of Independent Musicians) arises. By the end of year they will be releasing their second CD, recorded in the Concrete studies (Buenos Aires) and El Pote (Santa Fe), which will be included “Vidrio y Cruz”, which can be heard on this page.
