Biography

He was born in 1959, began playing electric bass at 11 years. He dedicated himself to playing Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Funk, Soul and even Punk Rock and Heavy Metal, with non-professional bands of friends, which explains in part the diversity of influences of his music. He began as a professional musician in 1990 where he made an excellent career: he is part of several groups and jams with Black Amaya and Jorge Pinchevsky among others.

Between 1994 and 1998, he joined the Pappo's Blues group led by Norberto Pappo Napolitano, the best Blues guitarist in Argentina, with whom he played more than 300 live shows in Argentina and abroad, including 5 Rolling Stones supporting shows in River Plate Stadium and of B.B. King in Obras Stadium. Recorded the album "Pappo's Blues 8-Caso Cerrado", where he plays the theme "Ruta 66" among others, 1997: He was part of Color Humano, mythical band that Edelmiro Molinari (Almendra) rejoin on his return from the USA.

1998: Participated in the recording of the 3rd. live record of the Heavy Metal band,  Logos; at the request of its leader, Beto Zamarbide, ex-V8, and his later national tour.

He also participated in tours, shows and sketches with Aquelarre at his 1997 Expo-Rock meeting with the Missisippi Blues Band, with his friend Hector Starc, Lito Vitale, Leon Gieco, Ara Tokatlian, Ricardo Mollo, Skay Bellinson and others.

Parallel to all the activities developed, in 1998, he founded a solo project of instrumental music inclined to Progressive Fusion and recorded his four solo albums, the last one of them “Manuscritos...” edited by M.M.Records in 2006.

In 1993 he began to play in the solo band Hector Starc, having performed repeated shows live and on TV, including two specials on the Music Country channel in 2001 and 2002, Carlos Riganti on drums and channel 13 on “Ese Amigo del Alma” recording the 1st. album with the participation of Lito Vitale in keyboards and in which were incorporated 3 themes of its authorship.

In the year 2003 he recorded the CD “Recargado” of the guitarist of the group Riff, Boff Serafine, next to the Bolsa Gonzáles on drums. He also collaborates with his friend guitarist Luciano Napolitano, son of Pappo, in his band Lovorne, where he recorded his 2nd. CD “mas R&R and played live in shows and festivals like Cosquin Rock 2005 and Quilmes Rock 2004. He performed in the Festival of La Falda 2004 accompanying Edelmiro Molinari and in the 4th. Festival Jazz y Otras músicas,, Bs.As. 2005 with a fusion trio.

Machy Madco at this moment, is dedicated to his band, mix of Blues, Funk, Latin, Progressive instrumental, which present in the 5th. Festival Jazz Bs.As 2006 with great acceptance of public showing its new CD Soloist “Manuscritos”, in addition to playing in bands of his friends Starc (Aquelarre), Juanse (Ratones paranoicos) Marcelo Roascio (RCM), and Andy Ramos (GIT) live in shows in pubs, recitals, theaters, festivals and television. In addition to various advertising events for the brands that support it: Wenstone amplifiers, D.O.H.guitars & Basses musical instruments and Bass Cobra strings.

Machy Madco, is dedicated to his band, which I present in the 5th. Festival Jazz and other musics, Government of Bs.As 2006 with great public acceptance showing their solo CDs “Manuscritos desde Musmell” (2005) and “Sueño Azul” (2007), live in shows in recitals, theaters, festivals and TV. Currently returns to Bs.As, to perform at various events, with his show called “Blues sin límites”, attractive mix of Blues, Funk, Soul, Latin with own songs and versions of Stevie Wonder, James Brown, BBKing, Miles Davis , Herbie Hancock, etc in addition to promotional events for Wenstone Amplification, low DOH Series, and strings Martin Blust, friendly firms that support him in Argentina, organizing the Jam-Sessions of Wednesdays in MR.Jones and other places with his trio, and playing with friends like Daniel Raffo, Martin Luka, Wire Gonzales, JC: Smith, Jimmy Rip, Matias Cipiliano, and others ...
