Biography

This Symphonic/Progressive Rock band from La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina), formed in early 2002. It has released three albums: "En vivo"; "Formas", y "El visionario", a second album recently released by Musea Parallèle label, in France. Among his influences are bands like Yes, King Crimson, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Gentle Giant, Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment, Symphony X, Opeth, which other of academic music add: Stravinsky, Holst, Ravel, Bartok, Chopin, etc. The band was formed in 2002 by Juan Gasco on drums, Julián Di Pietro on guitar, Jorge Obeaga on keyboards, Leónidas Porto on guitars and Hugo Acuña on vocals. But a year later decided to just make instrumental music. In the beginning the bass player was Julián’s brohter (Hernán Di Pietro) but in 2003 was replaced by Pablo Pulice and the latter was replaced two years later by Sergio Topham. Between 2003 & 2005 they made several presentations in Capital Federal at various festivals and as carriers of various foreign groups (Ritchie Kotzen among them); They won special mention as "Best version of the Argentine National Anthem" in a contest and were winners of the first contest of the label LP Producciones (depending on the Municipality of La Plata) with which they recorded their first CD "En vivo". Recorded live at Auditorio del Pasaje Dardo Rocha in 2005. Meanwhile the band was preparing to sign with Esteban Mellino, for Elephant Records and recorded their first CD in studio, which was edited a year later, entitled "Formas". In 2007 Julian di Pietro and Jorge Obeaga withdraw from the band, entering Abel Valente on guitars and Diego Yanivello on keyboards. A year later retires Leónidas Porto and entering Tomas Trebec on guitar. During 2007 to present the band has undergone several changes of members in 2009 Trebec was replaced by Carlos Cattaneo; and in 2011 Yanivello by Nahuel Acosta, keeping Juan Gasco as a composer and producer of all subjects, with the consent and support of the other members. In 2011 stands were famous Symphonic Rock group Asia in the City of Buenos Aires. In 2009 the band received the offer to edit a new album and distributed by Musea Parallèle label in France and the rest of the world, the album was finally released in July 2012.

In May of 2013 a video of a live session of ""El Visionario" is recorded at Pasaje Dardo Rocha (La Plata). It was a day of great effort, fatigue and everything to lung.

After 3 ½ years, at the end of 2016, "Surrounded Visions" comes out. The DVDr that contains all the filming with the audio in Stereo and 5.1 Surround.
