Biography
In 1995 he formed a quintet which he calls “Lito Vitale y Los Argentinos” and performed concerts in Argentina, Spain and Germany. In December 2002, Lito Vitale recorded “Un solo destino” with a new quintet formation.
With this formation return after several years, their activity on instrumental music.
In 2005 he recorded his album and DVD, “Vivo en Argentina” with the new and current formation of the quintet: Juan Belvis on guitar, Juan Pablo Rufino on bass, Martín González on drums and Víctor Carrión on saxophones, flute, sikus, quena and percussion.
At the end of the year 2018 “Ese amigo del alma - 30 años”, is published, in the place LitoVitale commemorates the 30th anniversary of the launching of this fundamental work in the life of this outstanding musician.
What is accompanied on this occasion are Juan Pablo Rufino (bass), Mariano Delgado (guitar), Víctor Carrión (winds) and Martín González Puig (drums), who are part of the various Vitale formations, for years. But, in addition to reinterpreting the material of that album, this anniversary is considered the important report of the Symphony Orchestra of the University of San Juan, under the baton of Emmanuel Siffert. The quintet-orchestra ensemble sounds well balanced; The strings are fused to perfection and the aesthetic of Vitale constantly claims them. But it is also necessary. What is often the characteristic sound of the synthesizers (here is the replacement for the "real" sounds, not emulated.) Everything sounds very tight, precise and emotional at the same time.
