Biography

Artaud got into our soul as soon as it appeared, one spring day in 1973. We perceived that it was a different album from day one. There was such excitement and intimacy in those songs by Luis Alberto Spinetta that when you listened to the album, as you progressed between your grooves, you felt part of a special ritual, like those early morning confessions that sometimes occur among real friends.

Such a personal album, so "Spinetteano", originated, however, a handful of versions over the years, but there had never been, until now, a complete tribute to this great album such as Artaud - Homenaje a Un Gran Disco.

Great creators like Luis Alberto Spinetta have the virtue of making us perceive life and its vicissitudes through its unique artistic vision. And a peculiar magic of music is that it gives us, at the same time, the possibility that new performers add the impressions and stimuli that songs like Artaud's have awakened, to give us a new perspective.
