Born in Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Casalla Sebastian Peycere, Carlos Riganti, Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, Efrain Toro,

Richie Garcia, Casey Scheuerell, Adam Nussbaum, Robbie Ameen, Tommy Campbell, Frank Katz, Bobby Sanabria, Toss Panos, Kenny Washington, Rodney Green and Jonathan Blake.

He also studied in Los Angeles, in the Musicians Intitute in 1992 graduating with honors and earning the award for best drummer of Latin rhythms of the year.

He has played with world-renowned artists such as Paquito D'Rivera, Ute Lemper, William Klein, Aaron Goldberg, Bill Mc Henry, Miguel Zenon, Hugo Fattoruso, Danilo Perez, Chick Corea, Ben Monder, Mike Mossman, Diego Urcola, Juan Cruz de Urquiza Richard Nant, Luis Bonilla, Gary Valente, Arturo O'Farrill Afro-Latin jazz big band, Scott Robinson, Dave Samuels, Gary Burton, Lito Vitale, Pablo Aslan, Anders Jormin, Ligia Piro, Cutaia Carlos, Raul Lavie, Ernesto Snajer, Jose Angel Trelles, Susana Rinaldi, Gustavo Bergalli, Maria Estela Monti, Escalandrum, Fernando Suarez Paz, Pablo Ziegler, Hector Console, Nicholas Guerschberg, Horacio Malvicino, Sexteto Mayor, Ute Lemper, etc.

He has won the prize “Premios Gardel 2004” ” with Carlos Cutaia, Konex 2005 Prize with Escalandrum, “Jazz Drummer of the Year” Diario La Nación 2008 and Latin Grammy nomination with Escalandrum 2011.

In 2010 he published his first book about drums called “Batería contemporánea”. The magazine conducted a poll intruder with journalists and music critics Pipi Piazzolla which was named best drummer in 2011 and 2012.

Also in 2012 he was named musician of the year.
