Biography
ChauCoco! He proposed as a quintet since its formation in 2005 a tour of various musical aesthetics in the context of the song can change direction from disk to disk without compromising its compositional authenticity.
Their first self-titled release “ChauCoco!” , published in 2008 with the embryonic formation that included Manuel Eguia on vocals and Luciano Larocca on drums, in affinity with different rioplatenses music and was attended by renowned musicians like Juan Quintero, Sebastián Baró, Juan Canosa, Alejandro Larocca, Gastón Jalef and Luis Volcoff .
In 2012, and with its current training set comprised of Rodrigo Ruiz Diaz (vocals, guitar and keyboards), Martin Rur (clarinet and keyboards), Juan Pedro Huici (electric bass and double bass) and Thomas Finkelsztein (drums), the search took pulse keeping the mainly acoustic rocker assembly and was expressed in a second disc “Dispersión”, which earned praise from the public and the press.
The launch in 2015 of his third studio album “Las Reglas”, released through the label Elefante en la Habitación!, the quartet at a time of musical and group full maturity, after almost ten years of continuous presentations in the most important stages of the independent scene of Buenos Aires and the province of Buenos Aires. During the same year were also selected as participants in the Bienal Arte Joven Buenos Aires.
