Biography
Progressive Rock group from Quilmes, composed of Lucas Bustos [electric piano, keyboards, Moog, vocals], Matías Marques Monteiro [bass guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals], Álvar Llusá Damiani [electric guitars, acoustic guitar and steel guitar , Charango, violin, vocals] and Pato Benítez [drums, percussion]. In 2012, the group managed to realize their debut album “Floreciendo En Heliópolis”, a showcase of neat musicality where the eclectic sensitivity (Symphonic, Psychedelic, Jazz, Folk) is the guideline to create and organize the sound developments of each piece of repertoire. In this company, the group counted on the occasional collaborations of Paola del Puerto and Hernán Cupeta [violins], Angels Eusebi [flute], Pablo Depaoli [piano Rhodes], Leandro Corin [sax] and Alejandro Saro [drums]. After starting as an acoustic duo in 2006, Vade Retro evolved to increase its staff and nourished a healthy nostalgia for its Argentine National Rock tradition when framing their melodic trips, although it is not unrelated to influences of international standards such as those of Genesis and Pink Floyd (73-75), nor to explorations of Jazz roots, as clearly shows “Floreciendo En Heliópolis”.
Unfortunately, soon after editing your disc, the group dissolves.
