His musical work is dedicated to songwriting and composed music for parallel exhibitions and installations. She defines her two musical productions "Centro" and "Cuerpo" as the process of "intersperse a vision of contemporary popular music, the result of a personal quest."

Both productions, recorded in a home, include arrangements for strings and pianos, that contribute to climate and silences.

Florencia Ruiz participated in several series of concerts as a student, performer and composer.

The board "Cuerpo" was presented at the Rojas Cultural Center in May 2003.

In 2005 released his third album "Correr".

This trilogy of his early work has been published also in Mexico and Japan.

In 2006 he "Fogón", album of remixes and versions of songs in their musical productions performed by national and international musicians produced by Seba Landro. In 2007 he released "Mayor".

In 2008 he joined Ariel Minimal to record a duo album called "That momentum higher." In addition to presenting the album comes together on a solo tour through Mexico and Japan.

In May 2011 released "Luz de la noche", an album produced, arranged and directed by Carlos Villavicencio. This album is co-produced between Japan (PaPita MuSiCa), United States (Adventure Music), Mexico (Verdegris) and Argentina. This album has the participation of prominent musicians of the national and international scene including Hugo are Fattoruso (Uruguay) and Jaques Morelenbaum (Brazil).

In May 2011, made ??his second tour of Japan that included various cities such as Hokkaido, Nagoya, Kyoto and Tokyo. Throughout that year he presented in Buenos Aires a duet with the great keyboardist Mono Fontana.

In 2014 she released "Ma", an album that celebrates 15 years of albums and was officially launched in Japan in the third tour he made with his Japanese band: Los Hongos Orientales. It's an album containing 15 songs and each of these pieces represents a year: from 1999 to 2013. The disc is accompanied by texts that tell a story, anecdote or just what she's talking each song. It is a summary of these 15 years of musical life.

In March 2015 composes and recorded two songs for KokorogaPokittone, a new serie of  Fuji TV (Japan) that was released on April 8.

In mid-2016 published with Mono Fontana a duet album called “Parte”, continuing his personal shows and performing live with Mono Fontana.

In September 2018 "Ruminate" is published, this work is like an introspective journey. It makes collectively the private act of thought so that each person makes flesh and transits it.
