Biography
“La flor y la mierda” is the first album released by the band Sein, composed of singer and keyboardist Marcelo "Chuffi" Siutti (also author of the songs), Martín "Roli" Lozano on bass and Adrián "Ardri" Casini On the battery, and raises certain technical novelties that until now have been little explored. The disc consists of 16 songs and comes in CD and DVD format inside an original pack of 24 x 24 centimeters, with excellent design and photography. The CD also includes four "Radio-Edit" versions of shorter duration, and the DVD, with the audio mixed in "5.1" (surround system for Home Theaters), adds extras and animations for each track, made from drawings of the talented artist Inés Ayerza. Within the 16 tracks of the disc we find a Suite of 8 songs - the integral work "The suite of the monster" - that continue the story of a story. The disc, as a concept, seeks to explore a human duality that is often considered taboo: man is capable of thinking and performing the worst atrocities and the most affectionate demonstrations of tenderness, while the only thing that universally governs is time. From there, we find in his lyrics a great variety of emotions and stories with mixed feelings.
The high level of production, including its composition, audio quality, interpretation and final presentation place the record to the highest international standards.
Sein emerged in 2006 from a demo of fourteen tracks performed by Marcelo "Chuffi" Siutti (his singer and keyboard player). But it is in 2008 that the final trio lineup is set with Martín "Roli" Lozano on bass and Adrián "Ardri" Casini on drums.
His second studio work was called "Tesis" and was released again independently in 2 formats: CD mini vinyl and a spectacular format of almost mirrored three-dimensional silver pyramid.
Sein Rock takes root in the Rock of the great bands, like Queen, Genesis, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, etc., although it does it with a personal signature and mixing it with elements characteristic of the Argentinean and Latin American music. Part of his personal signature is a rare musical genre: keyboards, bass and drums, flying above the voice, and being able to add as guests to guitarists, saxophonists, percussionists and coreutas for their live recordings and presentations.
Their live shows are accompanied by video projections and artists from different disciplines, such as swing with torches (fire or lights) and dance.
