During the 70's, Quinteplus was one of the Argentine Jazz groups stronger than it was.
While playing all kinds of Jazz, they were characterized by own compositions and were among the first to fuse themes of our Folklore (Los ejes de mi carreta), with Jazz language. As true Jazz musicians they are, this unreleased album recorded "live" in 1972, the sample with the emphasis perhaps more accurate for this type of group. Over forty minutes of music where the highest peaks are the improvisations of each of the soloists.
Although today do not work as a group, they can be found always participating in some musical project as legitimate as you will hear in this badge.
Bergalli, based in Sweden. Where it has recently released his first solo work.
Cutello with his vocal group "Cuatro & 4", Giacobbe, dedicated to teaching and performing solo performances.
Lew with his latest album in a duet with the pianist Carlos Franzetti.
Lapouble with his band " Lapouble, Ziegler y asociados", and finally the Black González, always at the forefront of the artistic direction of his bowling musicians for musicians, like the memorable "Jazz & Pop" which was founded in the 78 ' with Nestor Astarita.
Lapouble and Gonzalez also integrating a trio with the great pianist Eduardo Lagos.
This material, although later in his edition, will survive.
Written by Litto Nebbia (1988).
