Biography

Born in the neighborhood of Mataderos, Bs As, Argentina. For 4 years his fathers settled in the city of Mar del Plata, beginning his epic with music with 12 years experimenting on the drums (his first instrument). He began to study the guitar with his first bands and, due to a lack of bassists, he dedicated himself to what would be his definitive instrument. Fundó Boreal in the 70’s and Tribemol (a few years ago) with which I played in BA Rock IV and later years Magnolia, among its main groups.

In 2007, in front of the Spanish FM D-Rock, the original project of editing a triple album was born, paying homage to the music of Luis Alberto Spinetta. Below a spectacular edition that led to the name of “Los artists homage to the artist. Al Flaco… (…Dale Gracias)”, an excellent work that, originally included an edition of three albums and 68 songs that cover the entire career of the musician and is accompanied by a box set with drawings and texts crafted with a quality that nothing has to do with similar work from the great records industry chains worldwide.

With artists from all over the world and music composed remotely during the first few months of quarantine in 2020, Fabián Spampinato launched his new project “Fundemia”. If they recorded 26 songs in 26 weeks, the artists composed or reversed some well-known classic themes and others, however, Luego Spampinato selected 13, adding more and the proposal could be made concrete, so that it could finally be published in CD format.

In the year 2024, a much-desired story is about to be completed, bringing back from the forgotten "Los espacios amados”, which also holds one of the songs from the concerts that Flaco performed between 1977 and 1978, gives a name to these show cycles together with the Spinetta Band. contained in the album were never officially recorded. In this way, it is humbly intended to settle a legacy that has been pending for decades.
