Biography

Uki Tolosa and Coco Romero founded the musical group “La Fuente” that will cover the period between 1978-1983. The first presentation was held in a workshop for graduates of the art school (MEEBA), on that date Andi Grimsdith joined He joined as a guest musician before the end of that year and joined the Onfel Brun group. The four will go through five years of artistic activity.

He participated in the incredible underground meetings, organized by Resorte Hornos at the Mutual de Estudiantes Estímulo de Bellas Artes, during the worst period of the dictatorship. They were hidden popular parties, which included Horacio Fontova, Skay Beilison de los Redonditos, Jorge Durietz, and the staff of the magazine El Expreso Imaginario. There La Fuente surprised everyone with its exciting mix of folklore, acoustic song and murga. His lyrics were poetic, but with strong social content.
