Biography

The music of the duo is a refined fusion of Rock, Folklore, Jazz, Avant Garde, Improvisation and Concrete Music that deftly repels the commitment labels.

A broad connoisseur of Latin American folkloric rhythms, percussionist Horacio Straijer is a member of the group of Maestro Ariel Ramírez. Along with Mono Hurtado has released the CD "Marimba y contrabajo" through the British label SLAM Records. He also recorded numerous albums with the Huancara group and has recently published - again on the SLAM label - his solo work "Marimba y Bombo Legüero" (Folk & Improvised Music).

Since 1992, bassist Nicolas Diab has been a member of the Las Orejas and La Lengua Instrumental Progressive Rock group, with which he has recorded the albums "La Eminencia Inobjetable" and "Error" (both by the label Viajero Inmóvil Records). Together with the improvisation group Vinchuca he recorded the CD "Cae en las fauces", which was published by the German label Bsb! Records, his composition "e-solitude" appeared in the compiled "State of the Union" 2001, produced by Elliott Sharp and published by Electronic Music Foundation Ltd.

He has also composed numerous soundtracks for theater, dance, video and TV.
