Biography
Forty years ago the duo of voices a capella was born.
It was 1977 they were part of the group MIA, an artistic collective that allowed them freedom in a historical moment where there was not.
Already then was unique this experience of counterpoints, discancies and improvisations where they also played with different languages ??and popular music of their land.
Fresh out of childhood, they learned early to take care of themselves and to take care of the music that always protected them.
At the beginning of the '80 they recorded two vinyl records, “Danzas de Adelina” and “Camasunqui”, that in 1997 were published in a CD, always through the label Ciclo 3.
They then devoted themselves to their solo and shared projects with beloved musicians, but they had time to dedicate to the duo, performing periodically in various halls of the country.
In 2011 they released "Humanas -voces-", with improvisations recorded live, Argentine songs and original songs. This CD was nominated for the Gardel Awards as "Best Album Folklore New Shapes".
In 2017 they performed "Elementales", a CD with improvisations and songs completely recorded in studio, where they allowed themselves to play overwriting their voices and instruments and also simply singing songs that they love.
On Saturday, September 9 of this same year, they presented their album "Elementales", in the room “Caras y Caretas “ of the City of Buenos Aires. But before, on July 31, they sang at the "Pacha Mama" ceremony in Amaicha del Valle, province of Tucumán, to thank the land, their mothers and the fabric they continue to create together.
