Biography
My training was self-taught (with the exception of some classes to take with Antonio Yepes), my career began at the beginning of the 70s when I integrate the first training “Los abuelos de la nada” with Miguel Abuelo and “Pappo” Napolitano among others. Then between 72 and 73 to integrate “Pappo’s Blues” and in the last year “Invisible” with Luis Alberto Spinetta and “Machi” Rufino. In the three years we recorded three albums career. Between 77 and 78 I form “Sr. Zutano” with Lito Epumer and Juan del Barrio. Since the beginning of 1980 and in parallel with my foray into “Seleste” (David Lebon solo project), I am called to Spinetta for his solo group “Spinetta Jade”, with whom he recorded four albums in the period 1980-84. In 1984 I started to work with Pedro Aznar, with whom he recorded three albums. Since 1986 I set up in Spain, where I continue my career. That's where I am hired for major television network TVE 1 for casting the stable band of one of its major programs. Thanks to this position accompany international artists like Liza Minnelli, Grace Jones, Shirley McClaine, Rod Stewart, Cher, Latoya Jackson, Joe Cocker, Gloria Gaynor, Olivia Newton John, Pat Benatar, Rick Astley, Pablo Milanes, Patrick Bruel, and many others. In Spain also work for the producer Jorge Alvarez recording for “Olé Olé”, I produce the album Billy Bond "I Love You" and toured with “Ciudad Jardín”. In 1994 I'm called by Fito Paez for the shows of the tour “Circo Beat”, for which I return to Argentina. Then, with Páez entry into the studio to record “Euforia” and I remain as stable drummer of the band until 1998. In this year took place as drummer Andrés Calamaro, who made a lot of shows as part of “Alta Suciedad Tour” until 1999. Partially, within the same period Paez am called again for the pre - production “Abre”, by Phil Ramone. Since 2004 I start working with my repertoire. At present alternate my teaching sessions among which is the last album of the Mexican singer and actress Ximena Sarinana: “Mediocre” and my new band: Pablo Suarez, Guillermo Demedio, and Javier Viñas .... With whom we have our first album “Primario”,, and we are doing our second historical record, called “Binario” involving among others Lito Epumer, Juan Del Barrio, Alambre Gonzáles, Ricardo Mollo, David Lebon, Pedro Aznar ... and more special guests!
