Biography
The band Hyperborei was founded on the year 2012 by Gabriel Carbone who comes and founded the missing band “Kutna Hora” And Fernando Sande Dallas, musician of “Nekrodamus”.
They both started to work immediately on what it would become his album debut: “Terrae incognite” (2013). An album that received really good reviews from the press and public acceptance. This album features several guest musicians. Hyperborei plays a Dark Folk, Martial and with Ethnic landscapes. They have a rich, delicate and evocative sound. Then, they included an unreleased song in the compilation album 'places' (2014) edited by the Spanish label “Caustic Records”. Hyperborei lasted job was to compose the whole soundtrack for the movie “Los dioses de agua” created by the Argentinian director Pablo Cesar.
In 2015 was published a new work and was titled "The Invisible Army".
In the year 2017 they share with the Greek project Dark Awake a Split CD that bears the name "Six, six songs", in which they make 6 songs each band. Some songs taken from the soundtrack of the independent movie “The Hidden Sky”, in wich they composed entirely, but versioned to this split and a cover version of the song “Across the Universe” from The Beatles in a Martial vein.
Instead Dark Awake is more Martial with drums, chants, spiritual wanderings, powerful marches, from mysticism and medieval metaphysics to divine philosophy and strength.
Mysterious atmospheres and hypnotic stractures to stimulate the subconcious.
