In 1985 they opened the first multiple channels studio of Vitória: Studio Um (Studio One), that had intense activity until 1990, recording demo tapes and discs for independent musicians and producing jingles. In 1987, they played in I FEST UFES with "Camburi Blues", one of the eight best songs of this festival. Yet, in 1987, they recorded "Camburi Blues" for the offiicial disc of FEST UFES and attended the I Mostra da Música Capixaba do Rio de Janeiro (event devoted for the Espírito Santo arts), at Teatro Sérgio Porto, in December. In 1988 they recorded the LP "Gustavo Haddad", only with their own music, highly influenced by progressive bands from the 70's, specially Pink Floyd, Camel and Supertramp. Then, with the "trademark" HADDAD, recorded and released the CD "Haddad", a work developed in a more direct style, where the songs and pop predominate. Between April, 1994 and May, 1995, they published the first specialized Rock magazine of Espírito Santo, called Long Live Rock, that reached excelent repercussion with the related public in the State. In 1997, two CDs are released simultaneously: Deuses, Anjos, Homens & Bestas (Progressive Rock) and Blues e Outros Bichos (Blues/Rock), where the first was rereleased, one year later, by Rock Symphony (a record company from in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), and started to be distributed in several countries of Europe, Latin America, New Zeland and Japan, with good acceptance of public and critic. In these two CDs, tha band was: Gustavo (keyboards, voice), Leandro (Acoustic Guitar and Voice), Paulo Pelissari (Electric Guitar), Rubens Oliveira (Bass), Eric Carvalho (Drums) and Zezito (Sax), considered the "classic line up" of the band. In 1998, Gustavo and Leandro came back to play live in the pubs/bars of Vitória (Brasil Pandeiro and Beco do Blues) . In 2000, one more CD is released by Rock Symphony: Orion, a work that profound the band's relation with Progressive Rock. In 2001 Blue Notes is released, and get back the way opened by Blues e Outros Bichos. Considered the best work of the band. In 2003 Ars Longa Vita Brevis is released, the group was knowed in countries like Japan, Australia and they could play in European fields. Finally in 2009, maybe their last work, was released Eros & Thanatos a double CD editon. Information: www.rockprogressivo.com.br/haddad
